    Description

    WESTMORELAND MILK GLASS PANELED w/ GRAPES COMPOTE W/LID. Condition is Gently "Used". This lovely compote can also be used as a candy dish or nut holder. The lid and bottom together stand 7" high. The very ornate lid with its knob, panels, scalloped curves and prominent raised clusters of grapes and leaves design is 3" h x 4" w. The bottom part is 4" h x 4 " w with a 3" base and also has panels, curves underneath and a grape spray design all around. They are pure white.  Made in Grapeville, Pa. Discontinued. From an estate sale whose home was pet-free and smoke-free. Since previously owned some wear should be expected, however, this item is in excellent condition.
