    -my father gave me this pin in the 1960s when he became the Executive Office of the Sam Rayburn, a polaris class submarine
    -it is an enamel pin with the logo of the submarine attached by a chain to a miniature silver dolphins pin
    -fully extended it measure 3 1/4", the Rayburn pin is 3/4" across and the dolphins are 7/8" long
