Authentic, original Vietnam War era or earlier, US ARMY Field ARTILLERY PIN with the Crossed Cannons.
Marked with shields of N.S. MEYER, NEW YORK, including a shield with 9/M, which signifies the pin was manufactured mid 1950's to mid 1960's.
Size: Cannons that make up pin are 1 1/2 inches long.
Pins were owned and used by Major General John F. Freund.  Some information about General Freund can be found on wikipedia.
