    Description

    United States Air Force award pin for the Strategic Air Command "MAN OF THE MONTH".  Die struck in sterling silver, enameled in blue.  There is an applied likeness of the B-47 in the center of the blue field.  5/8ths of an inch tall by 1/2 of an inch across in size.  Maker marked on the reverse side "B" Blockhouse Balfour hallmark, also marked "STERLING".  There is one long clutch type of straight sharp point on the reverse side with a tie tack type of friction keeper.
